Voice Coaching Policy
Jo is passionate and committed to giving high quality vocal instruction and at the same time maintaining a consistent, predictable wage; therefore, Jo must offer a limited cancellation policy for students.
Payments / Cancellations:
- Lessons are paid 48 hours in advance before day of booked lesson.
- Payment Option 1: 2x lessons paid up front, thereafter, pay per regular scheduled lesson ensuring that you are pre-paid 1x lesson in advance at all times.
- Payment Option 2: Blocks of 5x lessons OR 10x lessons.
- A minimum of 48 hours cancellation notice before the day of scheduled lesson or lesson fee is forfeited.
- NO SHOWS automatically forfeit the lesson's fee.
Cancellations by Jo Shanahan:
Students will not be charged for any lessons cancelled by Jo Shanahan. A make-up lesson will be given within a reasonable time frame.
Illness/Unexpected Events:
- The 48 hour cancellation notice still applies & late cancellations (less than 48 hours) will be addressed on a case by case basis.
- Please don't physically come to a lesson sick. We can hop online and do a non-singing lesson instead if appropriate to do so.
- If Jo deems you are unwell upon arrival to your lesson, this lesson will be cancelled and non-refundable.
Re-scheduling:
- Request for a re-scheduled lesson must be 48 hours before your booked lesson.
- Re-scheduled lesson must be used within seven days of the missed lesson.
